i haven been having very bad lag and fps is around 2 after about 20 to 30 min of playing wow...I need help?

Having the best performance dosnt mean havign a good image. The only thing that you need to do is turn of the shadows and the Full screen glow effect. for me it give me +7 of fps with no fullscreen. And you should just get a Duo proccesor. IT will do the job

Doesn't vertical sync actually reduce your fps since it waits for the screen to synchronize horizontally before displaying it on your screen?

Sounds like the GPU is underclocking due to overheating.

increased resolution+vert sync and triple buffering=lowered fps

I have 2GB ram, and the Radeon Xpress 200 chipset....still can't get over 30fps but thats using GameOS and using it to turn off explorer .....
