World history has been a story of civilisations replacing one after the other. The struggle has existed throughout time in all forms. In the last century, we witnessed two competing civilisations vie for superiority as the world watched in fear and awe.

This documentary presents a brief but fascinating history of world civilisations: how they vied for power and how one came after the other. IT also looks at the matter from an Islamic perspective.

How did Islam for some time vanish from this arena as a civilisation that the people of the world might consider as their own? And why now, after that period of absence, is Islam resurgent? How is Islam built upon Tawheed, and what does this mean? Join us for a fascinating look at the nature of civilisations, their history, and why and how Allah made Islam the most superior of them all.

This documentary was produced for an event held in Sydney, Australia called "Islam: the true civilisation".

I liked the documentary except its not really a documentary on the history of civilizations, but more a pamphlet to islam. Shame, it was really good.

@musood6630 sorry but neither Taliban or Iran are using the sharia law. Sharia is a whole system and you can use just portions of it and ignore the rest and expect it to work. You can't drive a car on 2 wheels and expect it to function properly. Sharia as put forth in the Quran and Sunnah is far superior to any man made laws and it will never be rivaled even remotely.

@frythefriedzombie Islam hasn't failed it was the people who failed Islam. Muslims were great when they adhered to Islam and only by moving away from Islam that they failed. The opposite of course for christianity and other religions. I think if people want Islam and the Quran to be their constitution, who are we to decide for them? are we so insecure that our own ideology might not look as palatable when compered to Islam when these people apply it properly?
