Ret Paladin SSC Solo - Leotheras the Blind

After I'd got Hydross and Lurker out the way, Leo was up next. I skipped almost all the trash to get to him without wasting much time, swimming a bit and just avoiding the rest by staying at max range from any trash whilst on the boardwalk.

Killed the initial adds prior to Leo becoming active with Seal of Insight, Kings and Ret aura up. Once Leo spawned, I popped GoaK, then did my standard dps opening and just started zerging him!

Leo deals fairly limited damage in his normal form, whirlwind hits a bit more, I just stood there and carried on dpsing through it though. The stacking debuff applied in this phase isn't really a problem, it will probably drop off at some point anyway. I swapped back to Seal of Insight when my HP started dropping a bit, some time after my CD's had all dropped off me.

After zerging him down to 50-60% he altered into his demon form. At this point I swapped to Resistance Aura and dropped Kings for Might (Kings resistance doesn't stack with Res Aura). I let the debuff stack up to 15+, then bubbled it off. The first time I tried Leo I LoH'd in this phase instead of bubbling the stacks, however the damage increase from the debuff ended up killing me before Leo reverted to his human form.

After Leo reverted, I didn't bother swapping Res Aura and Might back to Ret Aura and Kings, as I knew the third phase would begin soon and I'd need them for the flame damage debuff once again.

When Leo hit P3, he stands around chatting for a bit, so use this short period to nuke uninterrupted. When P3 begins in earnest, you fight both of Leo's forms at once, so the damage is a lot heavier. However, HoW is up now, so even if you are using all your HP for WoGs, you can still turn out decent damage with CS, Judge, Exo and HoW and Leo will get burned down before the flame debuff results in unhealable damage.

Fun fight, shame I made a silly choice with LoH rather than bubble on the first attempt though! Will be farming this each week for quick gold for sure though. It's probably the quickest boss in SSC, yet it yields 250g nonetheless.
