"Strangers When We Meet" is a song by David Bowie, originally recorded for his 1993 album The Buddha of Suburbia. In 1995, Bowie re-recorded the song for his Outside album.

  • @Ghaiyst I have that exact video on my favourites and i watch it almost everyday! One of my favourite Bowie songs!

    I believe it is ment to be a doll of some sort, so she is dressed in fabric and as the song says "...strangers when we meet" David is shown guiding her a little in the video, like he is getting to know her!

  • @deelee74 Bowie always plays live. He is not into lip singing, This is proven by his constant lyric changes onstage.

  • This version is almost too perfect. I had suspected that the music wasn't actually live until he skipped the line that goes "my poor soul-all bruised passivity". If the music wasn't being played live, the song would have fallen apart. What a phenominal band.
