  • why does it sound like a door bell (reply)

  • idk

  • Wow I can hear that EOWS-612 in the background doing an Alternate Wail just like mine :D

  • i tried to email u back but it said u had ur email blocked because we weren't friends and i accepted ur request so idk wats going on

  • Great vid! It sounds likt the one in the distance is doing pulsed wail, not alternating wail. Also, most 612s I've seen will keep rotating for a while after the chimes end. Circleville does this with their sirens; they'll run the chimes and keep rotating for like 3-5 minutes. I think it's until whoever activates them hits the cancel button.

  • they usually stop roatating like 20 seconds or so at the most but u may be right idk who sets these off im guess 1 of lordstown's ems centers do theres 6 that i found total and they don't usually go off all at once with the chime test and not everyday there was really pretty collie that seen us by it and was carrying on when we 1st got there then it quited down and then it did not like it going off and the 1 in the distance idk wat was up with it

  • was it liud?,

  • @cavs3011 I can't say for sure, but usually, loud alternating tones are a much more effective way to get people attention, especially from great distances, where an alert- or attack-mode siren might not be heard very well. Like I said, I'm not an expert, and I don't know for sure, but that would be my best guess.

  • Dog says shut that thing up haha

  • sounds like this 1 is dying

  • 0:55-0:58 sounds slirghtly like an elc guitar solo

  • @cavs3011 it sounds like a doorbell because sirens use westminster chimes(doorbell chimes) to test the siren without making people freak out.

  • Imagine if this blasted you every time you play a doorbell!

  • the dog is the back-up alarm!!!! lol

  • Great echo! :D

  • LOL DOG xD
