As an aside i fail to see issue with Charles and Camilla. If anyone can offer a valid reason as to why Charles should abdicate the throne when it comes to him (in favour of William) - or that Camilla should not be his consort (not queen regnant of course) i'd be very interested to hear.

Contrary to popular opinion the royal estate is not property of of the royal family and the tax gleaned from their estate is huge, much of which is public access anyway (shame elected governments often fail to distribute the money in the public interest). The royals are tolerated on the basis that they fulfil an important contitutional role, support causes and actively serve the country. Contrast that with a recent Tory attempt to sell off our national forests and services. Whos ripping off who?

In the interests of fairness,this is one area where people should be able to choose where their tax-money goes! Why should those who aren't royalist have to shell out for these in-breeds to mess about in the armed forces when not one of them will ever see active service.Even when Andrew 'served' in the Falklands conflict you can almost guarentee he was well protected.Mind you,when you see how that lard-bucket has turned out since,lol!

Harry DIDN'T serve on the front line. He doesn't go on holiday/ to nightclubs without bodyguards,so there's no way he'd be "fighting the Taliban". I know for an absolute fact that he had a top security package while out there. As for William, having seen him wearing glasses, I do have to wonder how he was allowed to train as an RAF pilot. The normal requirement is perfect 20/20 vision and they won't even let you get away with it if you have your eyes lasered.

Camilla parker bowles is a disgusting gutter whore; she is like poison with everything she comes in contact with including her own children. @calicheSCOT Very unlikely. The AVERAGE tax contribution is less than one pound annually. Since 10% of the population contribute most of the tax (ignoring businesses) it is fairly unlikely that you pay anything for them. That's ignoring the fact that London is the most visited city in the world by some considerable margin. It's not just the museums that tourists come to see. Thanks to William and Kate we can expect a continued presence of tourists in our country.

i can not get my head round the fact that the queen gave the go ahead for her 30 something son to marry a teenage girl. while i do like the queen i find it hard to have any respect for her because diana was a very sweet 19 year old girl and was too young to be getting or even thinking about marrying. the queen as a parent should have said, wait a few years.

this is just something that really bothers me because it create so much heartache for them all.

@misspinkoriginal Another thing that is troublesome, is the fact that the Windsors are very inbred, I'm not saying that do to any dislike either. HM Queen Elizabeth and her husband Prince Philip are 2nd cousins. This was a way of life for thousands of years, many of Charles ancestors were 1st cousins. It's most likely the reason he married Diana, they needed to strengthen the bloodline, and bring in some British blood. It's just sickening that he married her just to use her as a brood mare.

@misspinkoriginal Are you aware of just how little their blood ties are to the Tudors??? Very diluted. Diana had a stronger blood tie to the Tudors and the Stuarts than Charles. Diana was the first PURE British person to marry into the royal family in 350 years! Charles can't claim that, thank god Diana's the mother of William and Harry, at least they've inherited some true royal blood and class. The Windsors are 95% Germanic in bloodline, you can google it. Can't change history or the truth.
