Just made a video to show you the sound differences between a stock air filter and a K&N Panel Air Filter for the new 2008 Ford Fiesta equipped with a 1.6 Ti-VCT 120hp petrol engine.

There is no difference when it comes to performance. It's worth getting for that extra growl :)

  • Any power gain though?? Are you still using the stock air feed or a K+n cold air feed with the panel?? It makes a huge difference. I was shocked when i put a full system on my focus!

  • @DannyMcCabe1991: now i'm on the k&n 57i kit.. to be honest i can't feel a difference in power.. will be installing a full milltek exhaust system in about 2-3 months, then we'll see

  • Why did you buy such a car?

  • @MightyMsc: because it's the best car in it's class :) currently being the bestseller in Europe for 2011. I have an eye for quality sir! :)

  • @DannyMcCabe1991 Don't confuse NOISE with POWER, NOISE=RESTRICTION. K&N has tiny surface area compared to a correct paper filter, so the holes have to be 13+ times bigger to allow the same amount of air through. Paper filters, K&N doesn't as the holes are huge. The oil broke my MAF sensor and unfiltered air caused pitting & wear on my turbo. On a rolling road, a paper filter provides more BHP.K&N blocks up faster & decreases performance, a paper one is oversized, filters & takes ages to block.

  • @10CIRL i didnt

  • did u notice any difference?

  • Tel me the website

  • @TheFUEL6303 yes they should have some, go to their website and look for your car model. the filter itself should be better than any other stock brands

  • Hey bro nice sound.

I hv fited k&n in my bike which is giving a furious roar lyk lion.

Bt is this also compatible with cars also?

After watchng urs am inspired to instal it in my toyota prado & bmw 530di.

    Is it possible???

    Pls rply me..

    I hv scorpio,safari,pajero,CRV & fortuner also.

Tell me in which one it ll give the best performance.??

  • Have to agree... Mine is 11 months old, and I really like how it feels for the price... Great car so far ! :D

  • plus it looks quite hot where you are induction systems work a lot better in colder temperatures:)

  • you should have a gain in power as cold air is being foced into the throttle. No doubt you will have significant gain in power with a full milltek exhaust system they are brill and sound fantastic!!!!! How much would that set you back mate???
