goddamn man, the 64 bit era is responsible for some really silly and awkward graphics.
i never spent much time with mk4, i'm not a big fan of the 3d mks.

I had MK4 on PS1 and N64 because i didnt know which was the better version.The N64 one had slightly smoother graphics and no loading times but the PS1 one had better sound quality and full motion video cut scenes and character endings.

MK3 is cool in its own right, not as great as 1 2 or 4, but as a game itself its pretty cool. Loved the combo intros and switing arenas during fights that mk 3 gave us.
MK 3 was ground breaking in Mortal Kombat's history.

Nice review so far. Going to look at part 2 in a bit. Only 2 things

Can't say I agree, as there was much more changed and tweaked then just adding ninjas. New moves for some characters, tweaked properties, more dial in openers, and so forth.

That's actually incorrect. X-men: Children of the Atom had them first. A full year before, actually.

I need to rephrase. . . i use to play the game alot (its been like 5 or 6 years scence i last played.) but any hoot. i cant find any shots of muti-teared areina. could you please send me a link to a video of one. i really wanna know how they look ; )
