Everyone says picking Darko ruined Detroit. I say being picked by Detroit ruined Darko. How are you supposed to develop as a player mentally and physically when you're only given 5 minutes a game? Darko's numbers go up the more minutes you give him. If he averaged 30 or more minutes he's easily a double-double player.

I don't think it would've mattered. Whoever they were going to chose was going to be doomed at the bench because Larry Brown doesn't play rookies or young players.
