MP4-12C The North American Launch - Final Edit.wmv

Following the successful North American debut of the McLaren MP4-12C at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, McLaren Automotive began a launch tour of its selected North America dealership locations. Prospective customers had the opportunity to see the 12C in the metal at the future site of McLaren Beverly Hills and speak to the team responsible for groundbreaking newcomer.

@suzukiaddress125 MP4 = McLaren Project 4. The C means "Carbon" ( Carbon MonoCell ). The '12' refers to McLaren's internal Vehicle Performance Index through which it rates key performance criteria both for competitors and for its own cars.

I still think it is ugly. And the name is crap. What the hell is MP4-12C? Can we not give our cars names that sound good anymore?

@merLin123a _______________EXACTLY!!! Enough with all the lip service on how "great" this thing is. Put it up against some LP550's, 458's, Porsche turbo's, GT2's, and ZR1's. I love Mclarens, but all this hype is getting lame. Time to put the damn thing on some tracks and toss it around!
