  • Us stupid Americans usually use the word "sea" and "ocean" interchangeably such as "a trip to the seashore" means the same as a trip to the coast, or a trip to the ocean shore. Why must you be so petty and critical?

  • "When I am growing plants, I always consider their native areas." - I think this is the best piece of advise that a good gardener can give. Nice video and thank you for sharing your knowledge.

  • Ignorant, they grow in the north african countries as well, in fact olives from morocco, Algeria, tunisia are the best in the world.

  • @poosaypirate Sorry to burst your bubble, but ktama1111's geographic explanation is correct! Regrettably, Americans seriously lack geographic and by extension, world knowledge.

  • My Arbequina will fruit in three years and it flowers on the prior years wood.

  • The part about an olive tree producing fruit in 3-10 years is incorrect. Mediterranean Olive trees only flower on wood that is at least 7 years old. For this reason, most growers prefer to grow olives from thick cuttings or air layers.

  • anyone know any good places to get olive seeds
