This is my Dell inspiron 530 that i modded to make some gaming! My hardware is Intel core 2 quad at 3ghz, 3 gig DDR 800, 500 go HDD, 450 Watt PSU, ATI Radeon HD 3870 overclocked and a ThermalTake Beetle CPU cooler with ThermalFusion 400 thermal paste! I also changed the case fan for a CoolerMaster silent fan with leds and putted another in the front of my case to increase the airflow of my case for better cooling! Please post comments!!!

  • is that the 0ry007 board????

  • @BLYFACTOR I don't remember wich board it was exactly but if i remember well it was a Foxconn motherboard with the G33 chipset.

  • I have this computer and want to make it good for gaming, i know i need a graphics card. but what other stuff do i need

  • @richardaburt Depending the video card you may need a better power supply. But This system would be the minimum if you want to play latest games. Since the chipset isn't the best and most of all the bios that is locked. But with a good video card the power supply to power it and if you can the best CPU you can get (Quad core would be great) and add the more ram you can you should be able to play the latest games without much problems.

  • How exactly did you add the fan in the front?

  • How long has it been running stable with the 3ghz tape mod?

  • @MLGProXBuddy175X If the screws are the right size you shouldn't have any problems. Good Luck with your project!

  • @wolvid ya thts wat i am going to try. I just have to go out and buy 1" machine screws and it should work. It would have been easier if I could have used the clamp but there is no way to take off the other one. It's glued on tight.

  • @MLGProXBuddy175X I didn't have to remove it cause i managed to fit it with screws. I was a bit lucky on this :P But don't try to remove it by pulling hard cause you will break the mobo. If you succesfully remove it tell people how you did this cause somebody broke the motherboard this way. So if you are successfull just leave a comment on how you did it.

  • how did u get the xclamp for the stock cpu cooler off?? mine seems to be glued to the motherboard and the cpu cooler i want to use isn't compatible with the it and it need to be removed.
