@coolasshole23 a small town in tn a group of people tried to start a cop watch program they ran a ad in the local paper and notified the police dept.the first night out there were 6 cop watch people divided up in three teams.after 1 hr. two teams were in jail the third team were in the emergency room.they were beat tased and charged with several charges all remained in jail under no bond for 3 weeks.one person is deaf because of the police beating and 1 will never walk again.thanks tn police

Sure, u can record. From 50 feet back. Anything closer is unsafe for the Officers involved. You are an unknown to them. They have no idea what ur up to. U can TELL them, "Hey, its cool, I just wanna tape u incase u violate someones rights." But, hey, ppl lie to the Police all the time. I could articulate a good case against someone within 50 feet that refused to back up.

Can you see the difference now? The difference between a law enforcement officer and a peace officer? Shoot the african american officer and even the one in riot gear were professional. The others looked like thugs.

The first cop who spoke to the camera, is a fine cop, a gentlemen, and an excellent PR man for the Berckley PD. We need more examples like him. He is a true professional, if there are more cops like him, that will restore the faith, and the trust in the community. Excellent video
