From the Christmas Eve/Day services at Idlewild Baptist Church, Tampa, FL.

He came upon a clear midnight
They say it was silent
All was so bright
When He came

No room was left for him in the inn
They say in a manger, away was his bed
When He Came

He came blameless
That's the only way he would suffice
And he came in gentleness
To live a perfect and humble man's life

And He died so far away on a hill
Could've calmed the crowd
Like He told the waters, "Be Still"
But He died

As the world's only pure sacrifice

And they say like a victor from the grave He arose
After three days of silence He shed His grave clothes
And He rose

And He rose blameless

And He rose victorious
As the King meant to be all His life
When He rose

And He came in my heart
I was just a girl
But somehow I knew His hands held the world
