No argument here. FlightSimX has considerably better graphics that the simulators we use (better than the military uses for that mater!).

But, functional instrumentation, working DDI buttons, working HUD and an 8 foot wide 6 foot tall view of the world outside all combine to make flying with us considerably better than flying FlightSim at home.

Add that you can engage in live action modern air combat with up to 3 other people at Air Combat Zone, something FlightSim unfortunately still can't do.

Same sim in the video as used at Hangar09 on va beach we just use a larger screen for the world outside the cockpit view. Next time you're at Hangar09 on a weekday when they have more time to help you, ask to try some carrier traps. Theirs sims are just as capable as the one in this video and you can have some real fun hot-doggin' around the carrier or for a real challenge, try a trap without the world outside turned on using the HUD and ILS alone!
