  • We didn't have to deal with IED'S but most of us didn't have many of todays conveniences. We were some bad asses!!!

  • Right on brother! If there hadn't been a war before we got there, there damn sure would have been one started shortly after us landing. There were some bad asses in this mob ... especially The Goon Platoon.

  • @wattlebough So all in all, you had a bout a few thousand conscripts because Australia didn't have an army, or was it you just lacked the courage to go to war, mudda FUKKA?

  • @wattlebough

You are a bullshit history buff, mudda fukka. Don't forget to mention how many of your faggot soldiers stepped on their own land mines. History doesn't need to be contorted to inflate your pathetic ego, fuck-face. Just because you were evaluated as unfit to serve your country doesn't mean you have to tell lies all your useless life; got it cunt?

  • @mattyk722

    Cocksucker.

  • Delta Company 3Bn RAR ( Old Faithful)...Duty First..

  • @67DieHardPatriot454 on one hand I would like to thank you on the other are you taking the piss ?

  • Learn there role in vietnam? they did what we did we just had more troops in country. The aussies were and are a great ally in every war. My opinion of course. However look at the climate they come from they can adapt to whatever going to vietnam to them wasn't no more dangerous then home other then the black pajama boogie men with ak's haha. No they did a good job and continue to in afghanistan today.

  • Good video Im trying to learn more about the Aussies role in Vietnam and more about the FALs & L1A1s.

  • Don't fuck with the aussies....just don't .ok?

  • 50,000 Aussies served there mostly between 1965- 1972, but they were there in an advisory role from 1962- 1973. At the height of their commitment they had 3 infantry battalions, a squadron of SASR, Centurion tanks, artillery, plus navy Destroyers of the US Adams class (HMAS Perth, etc) blockading the North as part of the US fleet.

  • It's perhaps just a touch late with the reply maordie, and I hope you were able to get the info you were after for your project, but the answer to your question is (according to the books- I'm a history buff, not an ex-serviceman) pretty much the same as the US Army, the Bell Huey (Iroquois) & Chinook. But at that time they were piloted by Officers of the Royal Australian Air Force, not the Army. Cheers matey, hope your assignment went well.
