why the hell 3.Qg5 ???
-
@arandomperson240 But after they trade queens, can't the bishop take the pawn trapping the rook?
-
Newsflash: NOBODY PLAYS 3...Qg5??
-
@56dlp, that make sense and its better than exchanging the rook with the queen, but white can just trap the rook by the bishop after exchanging his queen.
-
I'm not talking about a pawn move to g4. I'm talking about Qg4 to get out of this so called "Trap". The queen is safe on g4 because it is protected by the bishop on c8. After the queen exchange black is actually up material.
-
You don't need a trap when you're playing an idiot who plays 3...Qg5.
-
The Queen could come to g4 because it is defended by the Bishop, but after the white queen takes and black's bishop retakes, the white bishop can take on b7 and will win a rook. Black either exchanges a queen for a rook or just loses a rook. Either way is bad for black.
-
just move the black queen to G4 and the black's white bishop will give the queen a little protection because white would lose his queen taking black's
I cant believe he made this entire video without noticing the very simple move to g4. Instead, he suggests exchanging the queen for the rook. Wow...

@56dlp well g4 would be fine for white but why?? Be3 tricks the black queen to take the g2 pawn. Isnt that better to get the queen than to move a pawn?!

Hey in the end what if the queen just takes the knight and puts the white king in check.

@MasterSword100 well the Rook would just take the Queen! lol Its better to take the Rook for 5 points then the Knight for 3 points
