@ajhrockerboy6 Okay~ Thank you! Apples and watermelon are especially tasty~ However I don' think I would want to quit eating junk food completely....Treats are nice on occasion. I mean I'll have a donut maybe once a year... I know it's not perfectly healthy, but that's not a huge health-sin, is it?

@walangkeber i applaud you for using the word "most" instead of the word "all". Because I am an american young adult. I'm 22 and I'm changing my outlook on food. I used to eat like shit. And now I think of food as medicine and fuel. Whenever my parents buy apples which is most of the time because they always shop at Sunflower I eat an apple a day and drink green tea everyday.

@dappleback stop eating refined sugar i.e. candy, other processed junk. if you have a sweet tooth grab some strawberries, blueberries, a banana, watermelon, apples, or any other healthy food. Eat these everyday and get exercise. by the way i'm an american myself however i refuse to eat a hamburger or other junk food ever again. i now think of food as fuel which it is.

Questions:
- Which fruits should we be eating?
- How much sugar should we be consuming per year?

Corps_America thats it
I love how most americans only eat a light meal or just a salad when they are in front of friends or co-workers. I'm sure when they get home and alone, they eat a bucket of pasta and 10 lbs of steak with a huge bowl of french fries for dinner. Then they sit their fat asses in the couch watching tv till they pass out. LOL

The thing is that I see some of these really obese people, and there are other issues going on with them besides diet.
I eat healthy, but I'm not a fanatic--I pig out on cookies, french fries a couple times a week.
I exercise, but nothing extreme--some cycling and some weights.
I keep my body fat around 10% without killing myself--and I'm hardly a teenager.
It's really not that difficult to stay lean. So when I look around me and I see mostly fat people, I wonder what the hell is going on here?
