Resistance 2 E3 '08

Recently, a mysterious site going by the name of Project Abraham has been discovered. It features a live-action video of someone being carted through a hospital, apparently in critical condition. A woman (played by Katee Sackhoff) wearing a shirt bearing the same logo prominently featured in the Resistance: Fall of Man loading screen is among several soldiers following the person on the cart. The video flashes orange at random intervals, possibly indicating it's Hale or one of the men from sentinel team being carted through as he has been infected with the Chimeran virus. The video ends when a doctor injects a syringe and the video cuts out but with the flatline noise still going, which is actually a Morse code spelling out "Blackout."
The word "Blackout" can then be added to the end of the URL. Upon going to this page, all there is to be seen is a flash application which is merely a desk with a picture on it. It should be noted that everything around the desk is literally blackened out. It is the same picture that Hale looks at throughout the previous game. The picture can be "picked up" and dragged, but there is no obvious meaning as to why you can do so since nothing happens. On July 8th, the page was updated with a letter from a colonel, adding information about the base. A second video was also added at the same time, showing a scene between a doctor and the woman from the first video. They are arguing about the patient from the first video and what happened to him. The woman is being yelled at for possibly "jeopardizing the experiment" which leads one to believe that Hale is not the only soldier with the virus. It is also to be noted that the chimera virus in Europe is referenced to in America as influenza. A poster is shown saying, "Only in America, can influenza be fought." On July 16th, another video was added with the woman and possibly the doctor talking about who will be picked next to be tested. Another photo was also added to the blackout site which is another letter. Also a timer is counting down until July 22, 2008 at 3 PM EST time.

I don't get what some people say this game sucked. Maybe it wasn't as good as the first one but in no way did it suck. It was a great game and that boss battle was epic. I hope their is an even bigger boss in Resistance 3.

if you're arguing about whether r2 or gow 2 is better, totally depends. gow 2 is more of a tactical shooter, more cover oriented, and obviously third person. r2 is more epic in scale, obviously first person, and more a mix of different types of fps games. they're both great.

the multiplayer on this game is fucking insane. 30 chimera vs. 30 humans, = equals total awesomeness. play this for the online and the good singeplayer story, the coop is fun but not great.
