@KDZX4 you say a lot of false thinghs like the fact that all people of emire was considered roman...ahah dear ignorant friend, the Roman citinzenship was given only to romans born by generation and after to all inhabitantsof Italia and only to the end was given to all empire...We have not a good military history??? We only have had the most important and powerful Empire of the history...jall others empires was only a bad copy of the Roman...

@millennium85 And the french contributed in the re-unification of Italy, and in the end you just backstabbed them. You do not have any good military history on your own.
And you should also know that Romans did not care about the origins of someone, as long as a person lived in the Roman Empire they were considered as Romans, even the Franks who used to work for the Empire were considered as Romans while the Franks cared about that...

@millennium85 Stop your bullshit, the Romans needed the Franks and the Franks needed the Romans. The Franks didn't want to live in the shadow of the Roman Empire and wanted land for themselves. Gallo-Roman people were able to live the way they wanted and both Roman and Frankish cultures mixed together and it led to the creation of France, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands & Luxembourg. If all those countries are not united anymore it's due to the separation of the Frankish Empire...

What ever you can say, the truth is that today Italy has definitely not the level of France in all the major sectors of a nation and from far! economy, army, influence etc.....and this is the case for centuries!!

What a kind of hypocritical you are when i say that the romans was not the ancestors of the italians ? Charlemagne was French and Germanic the mix between the Franks and the Celts were the ancestors of the French. You have really a big problem in your head becasue latin is not a race .
