This is a slideshow picstory of the Ibanez RG-2228 MIDI - Piezo Mod. This was done for a client of mine Stephen C. Wilhoit - MIDI Compositionalist. I think there are over 200 photos.

I took so many photos, at one point I developed a blister on my thumb. This was from opening and closing the LCD screen on my camera so many times. This was a very memorable experience.

  • @roma063093 Nice!!!

  • Those burgers looked yummy. That's a crazy mod, man. The owner of that 8-string is very lucky indeed. Great work!

  • @Adrianpettit They certainly were!!! I have been trying to replicate them to this day. Haven't quite made them (burgers) that perfectly since... Thanx for the compliments!!!

  • I just sat and watched all of this video! I have no idea what you were doing, it all looked very technical! I enjoyed the music. Is that a real drummer or software?

  • @TonyMistry Thanx!!! Yes it was areal drummer. I tell him you said that... He'll get a kick out of that. The one 'Industrial' type part in the middle was created using individual percussive sounds and manipulating them in some crazy ways. Other than that all the drum parts are all real.

  • the ribbon cable @ 5:45 - what was it for, and where was it connected?

@ 6:30, custom wiring harness to bring strings 7 & 8 to Acoustiphonic - Was it coming from the pass through on the second hexpander, connecting to where?
