On a personal note. I grew up in bush fire prone areas around the South East and East of Melbourne and I know first hand how terrifying a bushfire is. In this weekends fires three whole homes of family members have survived and their houses are still standing. This video is for all those who where not as furtunate.

Latest updates: The death toll has now reached 181.
A warning has been issued to the residence of Mansfield that is now under threat from a fire burning through a Pine plantation. Mansfield is where my mother and step father lives and this brings me to family home #4 at threat. Yae is also now been put on high alert.

  • 1. During the colonisation of Australia, lots of Aborigines were killed and humiliated.

    2. Many Aboriginal kids were taken from their parents and sold for slavery.

    3. Kangaroos are continuously slaughtered in Australia.

    4. Remember that time when Australians attacked a Japanese whaling ship?

We japanese have always helped Australia's economic growth but we always receive racism in return.

  • Ok, but what does any of that have to do with innocent people loosing everything to fires?

    1. Colonization of Australia and the murder of Aboriginals where acts of the British. Our government has apologized to the Aboriginal community for this atrocity.

    2. The government has also apologized to the stolen generation.

    3. Kangaroos are culled in areas when their numbers are to high for them to maintain a healthy existence.

    4. Green Peace attached that ship.

    5. Only idiots are racist.

  • I didn't know sport had a sexuality. There you go, learn something new every day.

Everyone is sick of it being in TV. The 8 hours a day of news reports got on a lot of peoples nerves, even us Victorians but no ones dictating your viewing on YouTube.

  • Ok enough with the fires and appeals.

    Its over now.

and im in NSW so i dont care about Vic.

I have not donated 1 red cent.

  • Fine, no one's forcing you. No point trying to squeeze blood from a heart of stone.

  • I think it is laughable that the Japanese are trying to lecture Australians on human rights. I know many WWII veterans who would contend that your country has a pretty poor record in that department.

  • Great job makin this mate! touching

  • hope. we all need a bit of hope.

  • @southerndeep you dont think they might be a bit biased towards their own country?

  • the fires were truly tragic, please pray that the next fire season will not be so bad, the CFA said it could get worse.

Eveeybody if you are even close to fires please evacuate, it could save MANY LIVES

  • I've been to both.

    I prefer Australia.

That doesn't mean one is better than the other.

    Aussie's prefer Aus.

    Japanese prefer Japan.

Just either support them in their time's of need or don't. They don't want to fight you.

  • was that before or after you bombed darwin then?!?

  • You're naive

  • "You should know that lots of Australians come to Japan and they all think Japan is better than Australia. "

HAHA what kind of "logic" is that???

  • You should laugh at yourself first.
