As my comment has caused a stir I will clarify what I meant. I know FWD can be fast, I don't compete in rallies but I do compete in hillclimbs and super sprints against Hondas so I know how fast they are. What I really meant was watching a gravel rally I would much rather see a RWD car powersliding through a corner than a car with it's front wheels scrabbling away trying to get traction. Even on tarmac RWD cars are more exciting to watch, look at Simon McKinley on You Tube

@Group4RS RWD is heavy. honda is famous for being light, and with a long driveshaft under your car, thats gonna add some weight. plus, the civic is always gonna be FWD. HONDA POWER. but i dont hate on old school rally cars tho. at least you're not those Douchbags that think they can race because they have an sti or an evo. I hate those people. and if that's your old escort, then thats a sick car.

I was following the race and this car was owning all the Evos and Stis which is astonishing.

great video.....honda power ;)
To all the people who think fwd rally cars are boring, check the history of rally. On tarmac stages wrc cars have been whipped by the fwd peugeots and when citroen first entered the championship they fielded two fwd cars which caused quite a stir when the beat wrc cars and took valuable championship points away from wrc competitors. These cars dominated every tarmac stage and held their own in the f2 championship even on loose surfaces.

Now that's a nice car... can't wait to see it during the Victorian Rally in November :-)
