  • oh my god Richard Leaf is very scary.

  • bog eye!

  • I see.. this mentality.. in ALL of fundamental Christianity today. They have God wrapped in a box. A box called... The bible. And they are constantly letting themselves see The Bible, through what they already believe or.. "Seeing what they want to see".

  • I love how this scene shows Jeanne's sudden doubts beginning to seep through in full force. It's so effective. And Dustin Hoffman makes a really good voice of skepticism/conscience.

P.S. I like 2:58-3:20. "And that's without counting the inexplicable..." Makes me want to laugh... but in a very sad, defeated kind of way... makes me feel as ridiculous as Jeanne suddenly sees herself and her visions. Makes us look like fools for ever believing in her "signs." That's the ultimate question.

  • .3:10 is really funny.

  • Richard Leaf's eyes are utterly compelling.

  • The Truth isn't God. God is Truth. Without faith and knowledge, there is no virtute and meaning, but chaos and misunderstanding, followed by sadness and death, not Birth and eternity.
