@TJ347 Generally you would be right, but it would be a tactical disadvantage if you are going up again someone who just doesn't give a damn and just wants to kill people. I don't remember where it happened, but two cops where the first people shot in a coffee shop shooting because the shooter knew that they were armed. I'm not against open carry, but I prefer concealed carry from a tactical standpoint, not from a government "trying to not scare anyone standpoint."

I hear a whole lot about concealed carry, but seeing as criminals have stated that their greatest fear is private citizens carrying weapons, what about the effect of open carry on these criminals? I know for a fact that on two occasions the fact that I open carried deterred people who planned to target me. Nevermind the "element of surprise" concealed carry types regularly talk about, I want crooks to leave me alone from the get go and that's why I advocate open carry.

you will always get hurt if u resist a crime? last summer a man tryed to car jack me at knife point.....and i beat him sencless.....in that case id say it was the moron who tried to take my car who got hurt cause of a crime....that he just happened to comit...or atleast attempt too.
