@Shogunelite harakiri is a more formal version of seppuku. seppuku is done on the battlefield to avoid the dishonour of being captured, whereas harakiri is very ceremonial involving dressing in a white robe, and having someone to assist you in the beheading. this is the reason why samurai have a katana and a smaller blade when wearing their swords. the smaller blade makes it easier to commit suicide.

Very underrated game. It has a lot of RPG elements to it. Great gameplay. and you get to throw a baby if you so choose.

@RedBannerOfThePeople they both mean the same it's just harakiri is alot more vulgar

@Shogunelite Ah, I always get seppuku and harakiri mixed up. My mistake, lol.
-
@RedBannerOfThePeople don't honor them with the word seppuku, they're only worthy of Hara-kiri and I'll be their "assistance"

Whoever clicked "dislike" on this should commit seppuku. :)

@XaliberDeathlock It's not terrible at all, but I guess in a month you've probably already made a decision. The first one was completely amazing, two was alright, three was actually really good. NOT as good as the original, but not bad. I REALLY want to play 4 thought, but there's no American release date yet. It goes back to the first one in terms of setting, taking place towards the end of the samurai.

@Xzyification @Gojiro7 I wonder, why people are saying the third Way of Samurai is terrible? I've just got the game...

This is just one of many reasons why I still play my PS2 instead of my PS3, games that are underrated....it's an awesome game.
Just think of a remake...but nothing as drastic as Ninja Gaiden or Tenchu
