Now if I was right, he mentioned that his art stood out as simplicity with no deep meaning behind it and that's why it makes it all the more artistic, correct? Or I'm wording myself wrong here.

no bro. even for the amiga or c64 with there very limited set of tools to design with you can still do alot more than just fill. there were many tools to use. so before you go replying to people like you know what your talking about think twice. oh yeah derrrr i expect the amiga to be able to do what todays compters do derrrr.

As an artist myself, I find Andy Warhol a genius in making himself famous for art that anyone can do. I could take the same picture of Debra Harry and do the same thing in Photoshop. Andy Warhol was great at being Andy Warhol. His art was simply an extension of himself - simple and colorful.
