So, I was thinking to myself - how would Dean react and feel if Sam was slowly getting more evil by the second.
Then I heard this song again and thought 'hey, why not' and this was born.
The song is basically telling how Dean feels about the real Sam he loves leaving him and the demon!Sam taking his place. He knows he can't stop the change and he's all 'well I hope wherever my Sam is, at least he's happy'.
In the end, Dean can't cope so he puts Sam out his misery. It's a series of memories of Sam and Dean together with some appearances of what's supposed to be the present. It's starts with the end -nod-
