Ireland photography

"Come with me...on a journey....." ( ahhhh this Waterboys song is one of my all time favourites so it was an easy choice when it came to picking music when putting this video together.)
Ever since I can remember, I have always wanted to travel to Ireland....FINALLY, I made it happen :)
A land of uniqueness, strong identity, rugged coastlines necklaced with sandy beaches, unpolluted seas of the Atlantic ocean, ruins and archeological treasures scattered everywhere, vibrant, happy people and grandeur of epic proportions its hard not to fall in love with this country.
Sadly I dont think my photographs will do justice to the beauty and vibrancy of the colours and land in which I saw, as some of them were taken while driving or on a bus - but I do hope that I have caught the essence of what makes this place so wonderfully magical, so you can enjoy it as much as what I did.

I dream of the day I am able to go back...

For all of the great people that I met and encountered along the way, Thank you!!! A special and very big thanks to Shane who offered and shared sooooo much valuable information with me.
Thank you to Gavin Glass and his AMAZING cd Myna Birds ( the first thing I brought when I hit Dublin ..other than a pint of Guinness at the Whelans that is!! ) which ended up being played on repeat in the hire car making it the soundtrack for my trip! )
..... and a HUGE thankyou to Mum for standing in line to get U2 tickets for me which were announced and put on sale while I was busy haunting and stalking many famous U2 places of interest in Ireland!! As legends go mum, you are the greatest!!! ( This trip wouldnt have been possible without you and Pa..I am forever grateful xxx )
And lastly, if you have bothered to read all of the above tripe, Thank you! lol

I always watch your videos like this : O because of your sublime photography. I love how you can capture a rainbow over a petrol station, and make everything seem so beautiful. You really should consider sending in some of your photos to travel publications like the Lonely Planet, Frommers or Budget Travel magazine. You could be a professional travel photographer. How awesome would that job be?
