ServoCity.com Open Loop Demo with Joystick Control
The system shown is a fully proportional, open loop, pan and tilt system. On an open loop system the further you move the joystick the faster the system will rotate. When you release the joystick, the system will stop. To rotate the system the opposite direction, push the joystick the other direction. Because the speed is determined the distance is moved, you can move the pan and tilt very slowly by moving barely moving the joystick off it's center position. You are able to operate both the pan and the tilt axis at the same time by pushing the joystick in a diagonal motion.

  • We cant hear..can you write some notes on the description at least..thanks

  • @TheAcstdesnhorw I have typed the voiceover text out in the video description. I hope this helps! Thanks for contacting us!

  • @ServoCity THANK YOU FOR THAT INFO...will need more of thaose, just keep them coming and can you explain in terms of feedback precisely how the system behaves

  • @TheAcstdesnhorw In terms of feedback- open loop: when an open loop system is operated with a controller with a return spring (such as a joystick), the system will not move when the controller is in the middle position. The further the controller is moved (joystick pushed) away from the center, the faster the system will turn. When the controller (joystick) is released, the system will stop and hold position.
