@danrayson i noticed that too! i also noticed, that "what should everyone know" question was answered in a personal sense, such as "what should you know" but a bunch of other senses: "what should we all know and agree upon" or even "what should we all know and assume others will know" and finally "what should we all know given we can't know we even agree on the same thing due to the degrading state of stored information in any form (even the mind)." "we can all learn." my fave :)
@EmilyVanHorn i agree with you completely, but i'm positive they agreed with you as well! :) cheers on agreeing with some folks who appear to be geniuses in their fields. seems we generate brilliant ideas at the same time, if only in different places! message me any time, i think you're spot on with your suggestions. also, it's obvious by now but i really enjoyed the vid and the message, and hope you'll give it a patient review, you may get a very pleasant surprise :)
@EmilyVanHorn i must have taken something different away from this vid. i'm sure i heard something about learning the language of the culture you're in so you can benefit society, that we need to challenge how we think about what we know, and how we come to know what we believe is true, and even more certain i heard someone mention something about the planet we all ultimate rely upon for everything we have. I may watch this again, there were quite a few speakers and i did get distracted.
I'm disappointed that no one said anything about: communication skills, non violent conflict resolution, critical thinking or... how to live sustainably on a planet with dwindling natural resources. These are the things that would make someone more successful in today's world.
I noticed that some of the people were giving advice on things that were changable, like "How to get a job" and "Learn this specific skill", where as some were saying very profound and fundamental things like "What is the nature of being human" and "Remain objective about your beliefs".
I would like to thank you for sharing your thoughts and time into the stuff you post!!

What we should all know is that we should know lots of things. There are many many educations that we should obtain.
Choosing to pursue these educations over trival pursuits is probably one of the first things we should know.
Choosing to train others in these educations is probably one of the later things we should know.

DISCOVERED in the 21st century: The Underlying Law of Nature (i.e., the world's most useful knowledge).
You decide.
The straightforward, empirical process for identifying the underlying law of nature first hand–i.e., for oneself, was discovered in 2008.
The top 3 General Characteristics of the underlying law of nature:
#1. The Way of All Things
#2. The Basis of All Laws and Principles
#3. The Basis of All Health, Growth, Efficacy and Efficiency
Google it, as a start, if interested.

"No one's superior" Tell that to Congress, Kim Jong Il, Cthulhu, etc. You have the potential to have true, undeniable influence.

I think what we might be missing is that each of these persons have a particular belief in which they hold the highest regard.
