  • them 11kv lines feed the whole village and the streetlamps they didnt come back on till the power was switched on:)

  • Looks like an auto recloser having the last 3 shots at the fault created.

  • Do they then have to go manually switch it on then it must make a bang if so with a fault still there

  • notice the streetlights dont come back on

  • Noted, but those streetlights have a photo eye on them. Which turns them on at dark, and off during the day.

The electrical short caused a light flash bright enough to trick the photo eye into thinking it was daylight.

    Roll the video longer.

  • the powerline was feeding the streetlamps thats why they went off ;)

  • @BurninFingerTipz Whoa Nice thinking but you're reaching a little too far! :)Typically the street lights would come on by default when power is first applied even in the middle of the day . The activated "eye" circuit would then sense daylight and pull the relay off within a few seconds. .

The only reasons these street lights did not come on are not enough voltage and not enough time.

  • @BurninFingerTipz Wrong, the balast & bulb had to cool off first.

Why do you think the lights don't go on and off during a thunder storm unless it hits the lines?

  • The Autobots.

  • sounds like freckin optimis prime

  • back to the future!

  • 0:24 sun cam up

  • The photo eyes usually have a time delay on them of a couple of minutes, to avoid unnessecary ON / OFF switching when car head lights are affecting the sensors.
