Make a Stick Dulcimer/strumstick type instrument

I was filmed 3 years ago at my old studio/workshop in the Forest of Dean(sadly no longer there) In this clip you can see me working on the bindings for the stick dulcimer as well as play it and the kantele. I will be uploading a "making a Stick Dulcimer walkthrough/video, following a set of plans that I publish which includes the Instrument, Mold and Templates in pdf format to print off, this will be in the summer of 2008

thats just the chanter from my old set of bagpipes,(1930's chanter) The highland fingering gives it that sound(see "practice chanter" (a smaller version pipers practixe on)on youtube for explanation)I dont have a full set now, just pieces, but one day I will get the the missing parts for it.

it's a finnish instrument called a kantele (not, as the reporter said 'kantel' ... all the letters are sounded). they are a lovely sounding instrument, aren't they?
