I'm a Catholic and I believe that the only way for me to be saved is to believe in the shedding of the blood of Christ for my sins AND my acceptance of that gift. What the pope says is what he says...what I believe is between me and God..and the pope is NOT God. If we "take on" the life of Christ in our life, shouldn't we act in that manner? And, before any of of you "Catholic haters" cast the first stone, do some research of your own. Stop judging others, none of you are THAT squeaky clean.

@leSavaii Romans 3:10 there is none righteous, no not one. The righteousness that believers have comes from Jesus Christ. It's not ours it's his. If you are unsaved you do not have righteousness. Unless a Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist or Jew asks to be forgiven and Christ to be their savior, God will not honor a prayer no matter how sincere it is

Keep in mind sincere prayers whether from a righteous Jew, Muslim, Hindu, Christian, non-Christian, etc...that are addressed to God are all heard and must go first thru Jesus: the only way to His Father. It's Jesus judgment not Rev.John McArthur or any human being's judgment...so why not focus & preach the Bible instead of whining about other Christians?

Although John MacArthur poo poos it, it is true that God is there before our arrival as God is "All in all". Non-Christians can have "a form of godliness" as well: both are Biblical, i.e. supported by Scripture that this is so. Therefore, the humility John MacArthur poo poos is also important.

That all said, nevertheless, salvation is only through Jesus, the Christ, and no one goes to the Father, God, except through Him.

While I have always wondered if we will find people in heaven, (if I am so deemed worthy through my faith), that otherwise you wouldn't have guessed as they had no truth shown to them. I wouldn't actually say that to anyone as I am not fit to judge those rare situations.
