I had that same problem. Could pop the front wheel over the first step, but the back one would just slip. It is very washed out now. After 5 attempts, I had to move on.

Nice, but I have to say that climb is much more difficult now, as the area under each "rock step" is washed out. There is no way you could just roll over it now. Each of those "rock steps" is about 8-12 inches off the ground now.

I got this climb after my second try. I got to write my name on that wall thing i was pretty happy about that considering it was my first visit. I love the trails out there much better than dinosaur valley =)
