  • The number one mistake a buyer makes, thinking your agent really represents your best interests.

  • Hire a home inspector that is certified regardless of who suggests the inspector.

  • These top 5 tips are very common issues we find as we inspect homes in San Diego and Temecula. One big issue that was missed is to make sure your inspector is Certified. Understand that California home inspectors are not licensed, however, to ensure a "standard of practice" be sure your inspector is certified/affiliated PHII, CREIA, NSHI, ASHI or equivalent Inspectors. “Fireman Home Inspections”

  • Great video! i see what she's talking about, we see it all the when inspecting homes in Escondido, CA

  • WRONG WRONG WRONG…..

You hire a lawyer of your own that represent YOU not the realtor, not the bank, not the seller. You may have to pay for those but you want one the represents only YOU. The lawyer should not have worked for any of the people you are dealing with.

  • Next you want to hire a CPA to tell you how much you can afford to buy. That person should not be local.

Find an building inspector use the insurance company you plan to buy insurance from they may have some inspectors that are not beholding to realtor or seller.

  • Our ASHI certified home inspector did a great job. Our agent recommend him and he was very good. We received a report online with pictures and had seller give us $8500 for repairs!!
