Both Paq and Floyd have fought guys either in their prime or past. Most guys don't know how hard it is because you've obviously never been in the ring! Not every division is filled with competitors at their best. The point is that this fight needs to happen for the sport of boxing. We haven't had a decent heavyweight division in forever, and the sport has suffered. This will show the world that old school boxing is cooler than any mma or ufc fad.

You see, Floyd Gayweather Jr. is using the fight purse to avoid Manny. He is using "Money" to avoid Manny Pacquiao because he is afraid of him. Ofcourse, the Pacman camp wont accept a 60-40 deal in favor of Gayweather thats why he is insisting of a higher share. Everyone knows he will avoid top competition. Him defeating Pacquiao really isn't all that impressive because Pacquiao isn't and never will be a natural welterweight. Fight Cotto, Williams, and Mosley and then retire. Of course, there is little to no chance he takes on a real challenge like that unless he loses and has to. And Pacquiao has beaten plenty of young fighters. He first fought Morales when he was 29 and Barrera when he was 28. They were ELITE fighters in the same division = impressive

This would be a great fight but I think Pacquiao needs to stop climbing the divisions. He might get punished sooner or later. He is best at 130-145. Mayweather would weigh in at about 160~ on fight night, and many suspect he did against Marquez. He knew it, too, and I suppose that is why he did not want to get on the scale. Mayweather really needs to fight the top guys at or near his division, and not ask Marquez, who has never fought above 135, to fight him at 160. That is really sad.
