If there's a midi file for a song you want to sing I could tweak it a bit, record it as audio and you could sing along with it. We're not letting you off that easy!

I'm sure that would work fine. If you wanted to do more things like that you could always get a midi keyboard and some recording software... and be the whole band. If you do make and post the video I might try downloading it and adding a few things to the audio. That might be a fun and challenging project.

I would be using my video recorder with it's own mike, as long as I can play and sing at the same time! Otherwise, I'll use and external mike I happen to have. I won't post it unless it sounds decent thought. The song's very short, but it's about my mom, who passed away a couple years ago, so I'd want to make her proud. I just don't know if I could get through the whole thing without choking up!

Do little pianos sound different than the full size ones? haha.

Simple is good. Your biggest problem may be in getting a good balance between the volumes of your voice and piano. Using an external microphone might give you a little more flexibility there... assuming you're using an acoustic piano, not a synth, and are recording the audio with your video recorder.

Holy wow! I've been kicking around the idea of doing a little music video on youtube, but all I know is a little piano. It's a simple song though, so I think it would be OK with just that. It would keep it pure and light, like the song.
