@david42391 Also, if you played/watched Myth III, Damas was also the one that insured that the most powerful magical artifacts would be hidden or destroyed so that they wouldn't be used against Humanity when they would return as Fallen Lords. And yet, although he most likely knew where they were, he never went after them, until he had no other choice. Also, the sealing into the Tain allowed Alric to obtain victory against Balor. Damas/Soulblighter the unsung hero that saved the world.

IMO damas is the great hero because he managed to break the cycle.

A great end, Soulblighter was one of the best villains in games. It's a little ironic because Soulblighter was a hero and in a way his actions might have actually saved all the future generations. In a way he is the greatest tragic hero maybe greater than Balor or Alric because he is possessed by this evil but he tried to break the cycle even though he could have waited it out, being immortal, now he might have broken it, suffer for it but through his actions resurrected the empire to be ready

Shit man, name ONE strategy game which has better story?... Well, Homewold 1 is pretty awesome too. Still great games, they don't make them like it no more.
