No doubt. That's Dickey's '57 gold-top. I have a '79 gold-top, and it is night and day...the difference between the two. The old ones simply had thicker bodies...more pronounced curves from the edges up to the pick-ups....just more meat on the bone. Prolly part of the reason they sounded better, along w/ the PAF humbuckers. The kid sounds good, but Dickey is way better, even on rhythm. Dickey is the most underrated guitarist on the planet in my view...way way better than EC since Cream.

The Father of southern Rock, is a God! Anything he did was Great! Only a handfull of music is as good now as it was then! And Its all not to be compared!!
