Prepare to drool... Enjoy a quick tour of the reloading department at Dawson Precision. Seven Dillon Super 1050 presses, five of which automatic have bullet feeders and four are driven hands-free by Posness Warren auto-drives. Three Dillon RF-100 primer fillers round out the gear.

Dawson Precision has built a state-of-the-art facility to supply our customers with the highest quality pistols, parts and accessories. Some say it's a little overboard, but you've got to break some eggs to make an omelet. Or, in Dawson Precision's case, empty a lot of brass.

Our Test Fire Range is designed to sight-in and test each and every gun we sell so that when you receive a pistol from Dawson Precision it is reliable, accurate and zeroed for Perfect Impact™.

The Reloading Room is very cool but it's absolutely necessary because it takes a lot of ammo to test like we do.

We also have a Competition Range to do real-world testing and evaluation (and we don't have any trouble finding shooters that are willing to help us out!).

In our production facility we have eight CNC machines running to the strict tolerances that our customers demand. When those customers need something new, we can prototype, test, perfect and produce a quality product at a level that's hard to match. And it doesn't hurt to have a USPSA Double Grand Master doing the designing and testing!

So sit back, relax and enjoy a video tour of Dawson Precision!

  • Im new to reloading. Can i buy an option that allows my reloader to run by itself on power so i dont have to hand crank? How much is the option, if available?

  • @docjekyll2002 While there are accessories that do what you're asking we DO NOT recommend them for people new to reloading. It is very important that you take your time and watch what you're doing carefully so as to avoid any mistakes.

  • Thanks Dawson! I know my Springfield XD subcompact did very well with 147 vs 124 so I will go with the 147 and Titegroup on the XDM. Do you have a preference on CMJ makers? I'm currently using Montana Golds.

  • @enottingham Our first choice is Hornady. Our second choice is Montana Gold. =)

  • Any pet 9mm recipes for a Springfield Armory XDM 5.25 ? You guys just put on new fiber optic sites for me and now I need a really good round for accuracy. I'n not worried about power factors.

  • @enottingham We're really digging 147 grain CMJ bullets over TiteGroup.
