CS106A is an Introduction to the engineering of computer applications emphasizing modern software engineering principles: object-oriented design, decomposition, encapsulation, abstraction, and testing. Uses the Java programming language. Emphasis is on good programming style and the built-in facilities of the Java language.

  • i'm a classroom training is best kinda person... Mehran changed my opinion... I can stick to my chair for more than 2 hours... man he is THE MASTER!!! Long live his lectures.. i spent 27 hours already on his lectures... Bravo Bravo!!!

  • I watched all the videos up to this one and they are great, however I was very disappointed by this video. Mehran received some very good questions and just brushed them off stating that the answers would be revealed at a later time. After that he continued to drive home simple points that are probably common sense to students sitting in a stanford lecture room.

    I will continue to watch the full course, but for the future I believe questions need to be answered as they arise, even if briefly.
