XP is good, but it's time is running out, and it's whole networking system is just out of date. If someone were to make a patch bringing the entire Control Panel of 7 to XP, I'll downgrade to XP. Otherwise I'm sticking with 7.

What stupid one-dimensional thinking.
Every other company is tripping over themselves to get me to use their browser and grab marketshare, but Microsoft wants to give me the finger just because I'm using THEIR OWN older OS?
I've got W7 - it's great. But my older computer still works, it runs XP, and I'm not going to run out an buy W7 for old hardware. It's also nice to have one machine running XP for any software that chokes on W7.
Why not at least have a half-assed superficial XP version?

Yet other browsers can achieve these capabilities without requiring Vista or 7. As a web developer this is the first time that I am forced to explicitly deny access to certain features out of Microsoft's ignorance.
