The dying art of Pakistan's gun makers

United Nations talks seeking to curb the global weapons market have been postponed until Tuesday over a dispute on the status of the Palestinian delegation. World leaders are trying to hammer out the first ever binding treaty, and it is one that could affect Pakistan's thriving arms trade. In part two of our series to coincide with the talks, Al Jazeera's Kamal Hyder reports on the dying art of traditional gun-making in Peshawar.

The craftsmanship of those guys is quite amazing really but it would be surprising if their products are as good as the originals - there's also a similar trade in hand-tooled surgical instruments which is causing problems as many find there way into Western Hospitals and a high percentage have been found to be dangerously sub-standard.

Very talented Pakistanis. Man i would take my dollars there and start my own factory and have these guys make import quality firearms for me.
