It's not easy being green. Some of us know that better than others. And, though singer, fiddler and whistler Andrew Bird knows that this is Kermit's song to own, he decided to tackle it in a way that only Bird could, as part of a charming Muppets tribute record called The Green Album (release in august 2011).

You know it's odd, but I almost rather that the singers were the Muppets. I mean, this is wonderful, and very well done, but Kermit the Frog? Nothing beats his version.

@tastyscavenger in a perfect world you might be right but the truth is racism based on skin color, religion, nationality & class and etc. do exists; it doesn't hurt to put yourself on someone else's shoes for a while to get a feel of how wrong we are since God created us “humans” the same!
