The very first T.I.E. was The Intruder, which introduced TOM's companion, an AI matrix known as SARA, who played an integral part in the rebirth of TOM, upgraded from a short Bomberman-esque character (voiced by Sonny Strait) to a taller, stronger, darker, deeper-voiced incarnation temporarily dubbed as TOM 2.0 (voiced by Steven Blum), though it was the same TOM who still hosted the block.

Oh cool, I remember this! I also remember TOM dying and SARA bringing him back as TOM 2. Never thought I'd see this again = )

Ya know, I always thought Tom 1 looked a bit like Classic Sonic. Both were kinda short with potbellies, eyes were connected, and they both were memorable characters of nostalgia.

Tom was every kids friend, hey maybe even our best friend. We all waited for him after school, but the day he die hit us all very hard. Sure he got an upgrade every now and then but he was always the same. You could never replace his personal mind of things for that is what made him, him. He show us good cartoon, he is what made cartoon network the way it was, you all know that! But when he left cartoon network when very far down. Maybe one day they will bring him back.
