wow. MUCH better than Linda Rondstanst. 400x at least. the comedy thrown in makes it PERFECT!!!!!!!!! and hedbag44, Mabel is SUPPOSED to be very comedic and giggly and...well, young maideny! that is exactly how Gilbert and Sullivan transcribed Mabel! you should brush up on your Pirates of Penzance knowledge!

@bellaswan89642 Absolutely. Comic operas of the nineteenth century were a kind of equivalent to our modern day SNL - always a parody, always in good fun, never a dull moment or anything to be taken seriously. Mabel (and similar characters like Yum Yum, Josephine, etc.) is a leading lady role, not a throwaway ingenue; the principal soprano in a stage show didn't start developing her reputation for being a golden-voiced bore until nearly 100 years after Pirates!

Unbelievable. saw this last night at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. star was very talented

The costumes are more... Swedish milkmaid than innocent Cornish girl, but, that aside, this was really, really funny. Love it.

A bold interpretation, this Mabel is no wilting flower. I would love to see Kellie tackle the role of Katisha in The Mikado.

This is incredible!
The interpretation is so creative!!

I played Mabel. It was my favorite part to ever play, and I have been in lots of plays.

I have NEVER seen it done like this! Completly opened my eyes! I wonder if this is how it was intended to be, I doubt it. But either way, it's genius.
