Since 1982 the City of Chicago has banned the "ownership" and registration of handguns by city residents. Otis McDonald is suing Chicago on the grounds that this ban infringes upon his constitutional right to keep and bear arms.

He probably doesn't remember Ronyale White who dialed 911 three times waiting on his Chicago police after her ex boyfriend who she had a order of protection against broke into her house with a gun and killed her. The chicago police showed up promptly 21 minutes after Mrs. White's last phone call. Now just think my friend what if she had a handgun in the house. Mr. Daley's gun laws killed Mrs. White.
