@fastlane59 - No, British English used to define a billion as 1 million million (1,000,000,000,000), whilst American English defined it as 1000 million (1,000,000,000), but these days the 1000 million figure has been adopted by British English too, so now it's now used by both english varieties. E.g. I'm Australian (British english) and we use 1000 million.

@smittyguitarplyr Actually a billion is one million million not 1000 million but just america call it like this , only america calls 1000 million a billion but the rest of the world not.....any way just a reference for you to know
