yeah I feel sorry for the blind idiots that arent christian...oh hell doesnt exist? hmmm..that sounds lovely! @ks610 when you say he believed the world was going to end..did he mean the world of wicked mankind? As in Jehovah destroying the wicked? We DO believe the end is coming. Jesus fortold it..said that the good news would be preached thruout the whole earth for a witness to the nations and then the end would come'. What do you think? Do you think this world can keep going on with it's corruption, economies being mismanaged, pollution, crime, etc?

@brofun the person i worked with was really convinced the world was going to end, Maybe i used the word rapture incorrectly.... i know this for sure he really felt the end was coming and soon!

@rantmedia I have not researched if at one time we did believe in the rapture..but, we do not now. As our understanding grows, we make the needed changes. At one time we celebrated christmas and easter also..and we decorated our magazines with crosses..but, JWs have not believed in the rapture for a very long time..the rapture is a misunderstanding of the first reusrrection..and the subsequent resurrection of the annointed as they die during the last days (presence of christ)

@brofun Either you are arguing via the 'No True Scotsman' logical fallacy or you are misinformed because Wikipedia strongly disagrees with you citing pages from 'The Watchtower' - "1914, 1918, 1925, 1942 - Various dates predicted for the Rapture by the Jehovah's Witnesses." (sorry, YouTube doesn't allow external linking to websites, you'll have to search for the 'Rapture' entry)
